How are the split files named and organised?
Each output file is named after the source document plus its page number (e.g. ‘Report_page_3.pdf’) and placed inside a folder named after the original file. The folder is delivered as a single ZIP so your file manager stays organised.
Can I extract just one specific range of pages?
Yes. Choose the ‘Page range’ mode and enter a start and end page (for example 5 to 12) to produce a single PDF containing exactly those pages.
What does odd/even splitting do?
It creates two documents — one with all odd-numbered pages and one with all even-numbered pages. This is ideal for re-assembling scans from a single-sided scanner or preparing duplex print jobs.
What is the difference between Split and Extract?
Split is designed to produce multiple output files from one document. Extract is designed to pull selected pages into a single new document. If you want many files, use Split. If you want one focused file with specific pages, use Extract.
Will splitting affect page quality?
No. Splitting copies pages directly without re-compressing or re-rendering them. Text quality, image resolution, and fonts are all preserved exactly as they appear in the original.
